I checked Skegemog this afternoon, Sunday 01-21-24
And we are fishing!! ;D ;D :clap: :clap:

I wont be fishing yet though.  :(
I fell off my boat trailer and when I hit the driveway it caused some micro fractures in my femur bone.
So it will be a few weeks yet for me if at all this year. 
But if you are going to miss a year this is the one to miss ;)

They were at least 20 trucks in the parking lot.
I didn't check the ice, but I did see 2 sleds and one quad out there.

Thanks for the report, I'm hoping to make it up there in a couple of weeks.

I'll be hitting the ice on skegemog shortly here. Attempted to get my lake trout fix in on north lake leelanau this morning but alas... I was turned away by the crappy double layer ice/slush combo. Turned tail and drove back down the peninsula. Gonna go hunt some of those skegemog "whales" now instead.
