Decent  first day Jim. Were you at the club?
Wow that is expensive bait. Tom's in Westford is only $8.00/Doz for heavy/med.

Buying bait sucks. Don't do it often. Learning to catch my own is one of most rewarding things in my ice fishing career. A lot of fun and save a ton

Me and edd went up to Templeton Thursday. Holy mother of the lord was it Fa-rigid to start the day. Well until we crossed the pond and got in the sun. Then it was like Florida compared to the shaded parking lot ! Coldest I can personally remember in Massachusetts to start the morning .  -13 ! Zero wind though, which made it comfortable in the sun.

it's very fun catching goldies!  Especially when you have to toss some back because you have too many to handle. Easy to catch(once you master it)  harder to keep alive etc for long periods of time without a good tank set up.
