2001 Eskimo Shark Replacement Air Filter

Will the newer ones fit or do i have to custom make one....not sure if the new ones are too thick for my assembly

If it is the same engine I would think it would fit. I bought 2 tune up kits for my new Z51 the filter looks like it is about 1/4" thick.

Ya just not sure if its the same....just gonna bite the bullet and try it....my old one was disintigrated

If you have a Techumsen (not sure I spelled that right or not) motor the air filters for the Viper motors will not work.  I'd go to a local small engine repair shop or hardware store and see if they have one.  Most places will have one since the Techumsen motors were so popular.

They're just a piece of closed cell foam. Unless your Shark is very old, it will not have a Tecumseh engine on it. Any foam filter can be cut to size to fit, Ardisam will have that on hand if you call, and so will many small engine shops/parts stores.

Its a Emak engine....just bought a foam filter and gonna custom cut it

My Mako was made in 2003 and has a Techumsen engine so was thinking it probably has the same motor, I never heard of a Emak motor.
