Murky/Milky water

During thaw conditions do u still fish or leave if the pond/lake water is discolored a white tint?

If it's a lake that i know then i fish it even when its off color...Some of the best fish i have caught i have gotten when the water was murky through the ice...but open water walleye fishing in the winter is the best when the water is brown and high..for me anyways
