hockey12 and i fished the beaverkill today. rob got a sucker,and that's it. we did go to the debruce hatchery though, so we saw trout!

i wish i knew youse guys was heading up...i watched the fish comiss. stock the callicoon creek......they put 'um out right by the sewer plant discharge into the creek...just down from where the garage drains it floor drains into the creek...gives 'um that country flavor...

a few cigerette butts tied on to a hook & ya boys could have limited out....

biggest trout-rainbow was at a trout park in Tunkhannock..other than that I have only caught "stockies"--they eat anything...

apple caddis and other caddis's will be first....use the prince bead head..early too...get alot of parachute adams...

keep watching mikes rainsendflies web sight..on his stream conditions he'll tell ya whats hatching & what flies to use....he's kind of my flyfishing for dummys guide...

I'll make sure that I have a 6'er in the fridge for Holehawg, so that next time there won't be a dry throat condition..as for the popcorn, try beer nuts with your beer...

headed down to the local fly shop to start the process of building an arsenal of flies...trout opens here next Saturday, and as a B-day present to myself...I'm goin' fishin' for as long as I can..weather permitting
