Meredith Derby Tagged trout?

"Over the past three years, in consultation with the New Hampshire Fish & Game Department as part of an ongoing fisheries management plan, Meredith Rotary has stocked Tagged Rainbow Trout in the following lakes: Bow; Moore Reservoir; Francis; Little Squam; Mascoma; Massabesic; Ossipee; Waukewan; Wentworth; Winnipesaukee; Winnisquam." Are all of these still stocked on a yearley baisis because I thought that they no longer stocked Bow lake and Waukewan, would love to know what the stock and dont stock.

Im not sure about waukewan but I know they dont stock bow lake any more.  I dont think they stock waukewan either  though.  They havnt stocked bow in a while.

Every year the list of lakes get's smaller they stock winni,wentworth, winnisquam,mascoma,massabesic,ossipee,littlesquam....

I wish they stocked some more "southern" waters so I would not have to drive up to my camp up in alton for the derby...what the heck, its still fun though.

they also DO NOT !!  stock all lakes on the stock list EVERY year !!!!!! very misleading list

They put very few tagged trout in Massy down by Manchester, I dont think they have put tagged rainbows in there in two years because I just got an E-Mail from the rotary club saying which waters were stocked this year and big ol massy was not on the list. Not to say there still in there.

that pamphlet is not updated as far as the stocked lakes go, I will cut and past the list from my E-Mail.

I plan on hitting WACKYwan a lot this year. My crew and I have already pulled out some beauties.

My thinking is....if they DID stock it with taggy's in the past there still has to be some in there. The one's that are in there and haven't been caught yet must be gi-normous. That's good enough for me. It's not like they have a crew that goes in and pulls all the taggy's out of there just because they don't stock'em any more.  I'm sure that there are some in there.

Derby weekend I'm gonna fish there Wednesday and Thursday and move over to the Big Lake for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I started the year on a good foot. I'm confident it will be a good year.

I work across the street from the launch and know that they stocked it with rainbows late this fall, not sure if there were any tagged . The stock guy wouldn't say . They were all around 12" - 14" range. I also dive regularly in the first half of the lake and I know most of the cover and obstacles on the bottom that hold the baitfish. contact me and I'll fill you in. Also the launch isn't allways plowed,but if you let me know when you may launch a bobhouse if you do and I'll try to open it up .

We just got together last night for MNF and were talking about Derby time. 

Our friend's family owns a house up on the north end right on the water. We have access right there. It works out real well.

yeah my this guy caught a taged one off deerneck bridge in the fall right after they stocked ...and im pretty sure they do update the panphlet every year
