Chauncey Access
« on: Oct 26, 2010, 11:01 AM »
Stopped by Chauncey in Westborough yesterday for lunch and noticed that all of the access roads along the north side where the State Hospital and soccer fields are have all been posted as "No Trespassing."

Anyone have iny idea of why this happened or if it is a permanant change?

Don't take this as fact but rumor it's the state posting it. Not good.

Not sure I agree with the tiny posts as these gold pins came out of there.

Do you mean the state hospital?

Thanks F.R.E.D. for the correction, yes I did mean the hospital. Again I hope I'm wrong.

That's a beautiful tiger!

Just to confirm, it is the state property by the old State Hospital that has been posted as "No Trespassing," not some private land.

Looks like the state shut off access for some reason.

For it to be legally posted, there needs to be a contact number on the signs. If the state did it, there'd be a number on at least one of them.

I'd call fish and game and ask them.
