It's So Close But Yet Too Far!!

I have the bug bad and haver since about July. I usually get up on ice in the Uintas between Oct.22 and Nov 5th. Only a few weeks before i start going up every night to see what the lakes are doing...... I can't wait!!! With the cold moving in and snow i think we are looking at a longer better ice season this year than last.

You think you’ve got it bad, I too have had the itch since July, but the earliest I’ve been on the ice around here is dec 22, and that was on 3”.

Hey Curt up in Island Park told me yesterday they had 1/2" of ice on Swan Lake and high temp for the day was only 33 F so it's sounding good!!! Had some ice in buckets in Cache Valley that held all day as well, so won't be too much longer...  Get ready... Later J
