I bought one last year and used it on my 7" Nero Baldes. Worked pretty good.

Will this kit hone Lazer blades? Or my old spoon auger?

For knifes I only use a cheap Rada Sharpener. I have finally been able to get an edge on a Dexter Boning knife I have had for over 50 years. I also have a pretty big collection of Rada knifes as they last for ever.

I had a sharpener for my 6 inch Mora that touched it up pretty good. I had to touch it up quite a bit as the lake I was fishing had a lot of sand in it from the sand dunes next to it. I have no clue where it went to so I do not know what brand it was.

That spoon auger of yours needs to go on the wall or to the metal recyclers.

Gatco and Lansky sharpeners will work fine for auger blades but, of course, the trick is to match that factory angle exactly. Take a Marks-a-Lot along that bevel edge before

sharpening to ensure that you're at the same angle. If the sharpener strokes aren't removing the ink mark evenly, then you'll need to adjust until they do.
We're born, we live for a while, and then we die.  Sounds like a good reason to go ice fishing.

I have a Lansky diamond kit.
Works mint. I can shave with my knives after sharpening them.

Been a Lansky user for years. A couple of months ago came across a crazy deal on a work sharp unit. Loved setting and putting an edge on my kitchen knives. Liked to listen to my music and just hang. Got the work sharp and now can’t even get into my tunes. :)

Worksharp is great but doesn't seem to finish it in as well as my old Warthog.  They're gone but does anybody use a Worksharp and finish with a Lansky Diamond setup?
