Thanks that sounds about right..  that's a good sign though early cold! Already headed this way! I am already starting to drop leaves on the ground hear in michigan it was almost December last year for leaves to start droping..

It was fun to have some snow falling this morning, but nothing sticking on the ground.    Probably happen again tomorrow morning .

Last I heard was they had 5 feet in 8 hours and it was still coming down.
And yes, Montana.
They got a bunch in Southern Alberta 3 feet+ and it's moving into Southern Saskatchewan.

MT204,Drifter_016 thank you for the link and photo. I know it is not uncommon for high elevation areas of the Rocky Mountains to receive feet of snow from a storm it sill is impressive for me to see where I live in South Eastern NY. occasionally  will get a storm that leaves us with two feet  of snow. Also know it is possible to get snow any month of the year.

Absolutely mental amount of snow so early. Two weeks ago I was in the Maroon Bells Wilderness, CO backpacking and we got hit with the first snow of the season (for the area) almost time boys!

The snow helps drop the lake temps so they are closer to freezing up.
