Lost tackle @ chatty (1/18/15)
« on: Jan 28, 2015, 12:22 PM »
My husband & I were icing chatfield for the 1st time & somehow thru all the fuss getting off the ice after dusk we accidentally left my AR 15 lighter, 2 jawjackers & @least 5 rods on the ice near the swim beach. PLZ PLZ! If anyone found them!.. I'm all for buying more fishing goodies but this isn't exactly what I had in mind lol
Hooked is an understatement...

Sorry to hear that. Did you post it on the "other" site also? That sounds like a lot of stuff to lose at once.   :-\

I read that a guy who lost his entire ice sled full of equipment out of his pickup while driving, recovered everything after seeing an ad in Craig's list.  Might be worth keeping an eye on their lost and found.

Hope you find everything.  Its frustrating to lose things.  Mine disappears in my garage only to reappear a few years later but that's another problem.

Dang, sorry to hear - maybe someone turned it in to the Chatty ranger?  Do they have a lost/found?

What a great ending to the story.

Haven't logged on in a bit... Real happy to hear you got your gear back. IFF, my hat's off to you. I love hearing about the kindness of strangers.
