Ah! Big deal... My rain gauge was froze 2 days ago :roflmao:
Even at that, pretty serious wake up temp this morning (17F) with a high of 29 forecast. Now if the wind will just sit down.

Driving past some small ponds this mornig and seeing their locked up. Two weeks ago in the boat water temps were 50 yet, so i have no idea how the lakes look but woukd think they have a long ways to go yet.

Should have put my boat away but holding on to a few more trout trips. Water reading 44 degrees last week. Stripping fly line in is starting to get uncomfortable. Ha.

Two of my ponds have been frozen over for three days. However I doubt its more than plate glass thick. Glad I got the diffusers repositioned for winter to keep a little water open to prevent winter kill. Some years I get around to it too late and have to chop ice.
