That’s why Joe is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

I strive to be Joe at some point in my time. This is not Facetious, I truly do.

Not hot dogs, this falls under other things, before the  hoaxdemic, I had 4 beautiful  fish tanks, 3 salt water with  corals. 1 fresh water 75 gallon  with lots of fish, and live plants, "supply chain" issues, forced me to ration food,  and salt,  to to the point of lowering the salinity in my reef tanks from 1.026 to 1.023, i was unable to sustain the proper lighting the coals need to feed themselves I lost most of my exotic corals and diet specific fish, I lost fresh water fish that I had for 15 years.. anyway, I'm down to 3 tanks, now, 1 75 gallon freshwater with a cool  albino cray fish an angel I've had for 10 years and a bunch of rosey barbs..i have a mated pair of Brazilian sailfin catfish that are a hoot to watch because they swim upside down unless they are feeding. my main  100 gallon reef tank. Lost most of the hard  corals and anenone, as well as some prized fish .. I still have a mated pair of cinimon clowns , a black damsel, pajama cardinal  and a ornate wrass that lost his tail to hermit crabs because he sleeps under the sand.
There are still starfish, crabs and snails. My leather coral survived, it started as a 3" frag,20 years ago, it has split and filled the tank, I'll use cuttings to trade for new stock.. my small tank is 35 gallons saltwater in the living room it is fish and "live rock" only it's got 2 bengai cardinals a cinimon clown a coral beauty angel fish and a  striped blenny , the only scavengers are bristle worms and a fighting conch
I'm rebuilding them all slowly.. it takes longer to build than to destroy.

No doubt! Just like how active your bait is in the bucket or if the cows you drive by are up and feeding in the way to your deer stand. So many hints all around us that can help one succeed but yet they go unnoticed.

Absolutly, so.much to.lrsrn if you observe.

When I trapped fisher, I often set near scrapes and  rubs, especially if they were in a spruce break along stone wall, more than once, I came in late morning to dispatch my catch. The guy in the stand never saw the set.. it happened often too, people  look, but they dont see.

And it's funny, of all the things that freak them out, its noise, tap the glass the scatter, drop something on the ground or let a cabinet door slam, the go berserk, they hide when she runs the vacume, surprisingly, lights dont bother them, all my tanks are on timers. The lights dim and brighten sun set and sun rise,  moon llight until midnight. but if they are cruising when I snap.on the lights, they barely   flinch.

I tell the guys running generators on the ice that and they catch nothing yet still don’t believe be. Gotta keep that iPhone charged...
How's the ice they all ask? "I’ll tell you what, you can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a bull’s butt, but I’d rather take the butcher’s word for it."

Did the mechanic thing.  Too little money and too many busted knuckles.  Switched to software sales, then sales leadership.  Plenty of money, too much desk driving.

Oh apparently I finally got covid.  An annoying cold is what id call it.

Only one mitten, ..oh oh..

So. Funny story, guy comes in here for a job interview, hes here from Kenya on a work Visa,(I find this out AFTER the fact) so I show him around, explain what he would be doing, we get to the sand blasting area, I tell him he would be taking down filters and cleaning  them( dirty job) he says I ain't doing that I have a degree..I told him we have enough  dead weight in the office and his degree is useless here and showed him the door.. no chance he was going to even get a notice, just another  example of worthless education brought on.by funding colleges Instead of teaching  "our" children what they need to survive, there was a time when a degree meant something and it was something  that was earned.. I dont think it's like that for the most part anymore.. that's my sad tale for today.. My grandson just got his masters from Northeastern,  something to do with statistics,he learned more about life and how to take care of himself from his grandmother and I than he did the last 2 years in school.. now hes holding out for a big money job, luckily, he moved out, we told him the door only swings one way..
Done ranting for good now.
