i was just reading online up north alot of people are using worm and powerbait combos through the ice to catch trout anyone ever try this? What color Hali chain jib is your favorite and whats everyones favorite lure to catch trout?

I have used powerbait on a tip up and caught trout, seems to work just as good as on a normal fishing pole. I'll drop it and let it sit on the bottom and let the powerbait float up

i use it all the time in the open water but never used worms or po9wer bait through the ice any one got any weird bait stories

works great......it does get a little messy though in the cold. Even worse if you try to wash it off with the cold lake water in a hole!
