How's Mashapaug/Biggelo Hollow pond setting up? I would imagine  Breakneck would be first to lock up if you want to make the hike!

Yeah there will be plenty of "options" as far as where to fish by Friday.... Yesterday I hit a small Backwater off of the CT River and had consistent action for most of the day... Its here!
Pike....... Everything Else is Just Bait

Put in your time and you will be rewarded....

I fished a 1200 acre lake in the NW corner of Connecticut this morning. We had 3-4" of ice everywhere... We even caught a fish or two!

Can't wait for the weekend. I'm glad to hear guys are getting out. Every where I've checked so far has locked up good.

It's no secret but I'll leave you in suspense just a little longer... Turn to page 296 in your " Fisheries Guide to Lakes and Ponds of Connecticut;)

haha I think I know the place you're talking about, unfortunately I don't have the CT guide book.  Just the regulations guide, the acres on there must be different.  No bid deal, I'm just shocked a lake that big was frozen in CT!

Yep no doubt about it, Ill be on ice for sure monday, the question is where?  There are quite a few places now frozen.  hmmmmm well at least i have a couple days to think about my target and where to go.  Allready got my pb ice pike so pikin is on the back burner for now.  Good luck to all that venture out this weekend, and stay safe.

That was where I was heading this weekend Blaine. Glad that I won't be the first on there to test it out.
