Great bows
Hope you guys can keep that up. Those size trout would help Team Alaska during the tourney coming up in about 2 months.

Tons of ice up here, almost enough to be able to drive onto a few of the lakes. I just haven't had the time; well I've had the time, just had other things that I needed to do before I could go. I haven't even worked on my ice house since Friday. I'm definately going Friday after Turkey day. I think The old Barley dog and I are going somewhere ??? maybe we can wrangle old KP as well.

Man those are some nice fish dude.  What did you use to catch them? Probably caught them on some Nightcrawler/Powerbait combo huh! Where is that?  Looks like that is Big Beaver lake, heard they have some lunks out there.
Fishing is not about life or death, it is much more important than that! And all I have to say is FISH ON baby.

Man Baiter you know my tackle box too well.  Powerbait ROCKS!  Today I used corn and WD40.  But it was the WD40 that brang home the big boys!

Thats it......I'm moving north.

I figure spend winter where winter is still a season.  I'll come back south (to Michigan) in the summer for golf and bass fishing.

Great pics........made my day!

Well I'm glad to see that you are spraying WD40 in your water and not mine. I will say nice fish though.

yep, don't want to tell anyone how they should act, but there's better things to use as attractant then wd40

You cant tell me you have never taken a fat nightcrawler, rubbed it down in powerbait, put a few pieces of corn on the hook, and sprayed the whole lovely thing down in WD40?!?!?!?!?  I HAVE NO SHAME.....LOL.....Just kidding guys....messin with ya is all in the spirit of fishing.  I think all my ice melted in the past couple days....been pretty warm.  I guess its not worth the drive this morning to play in the slush.  I WANA SEE SOME MORE PICS BOYS!!!!!!!!!

No, no, no, wrong answer ::) Road repair is the season in between the seasons of winters end and the beginning of road construction/combat fishing/terrorists ??? I mean tourists and then again road repair and then winter  It's a never ending vicious cycle like laundry and taxes :%$#!: and not having enough time to get all the fishing in and then the honey doos :pinch:

ha!  ;D

So we've got three answers "spri-umm-fall" - "seasons of winters end and the beginning of road construction/combat fishing/terrorists  I mean tourists and then again road repair and then winter" - and "road repair"...

all are obviously correct, however road construction has to take it. If you've ever known any of the engineers or construction workers in this field they work 6-7 days a week 10-16 hours a day the entire season - I think they're nuts, but I guess the money is worth having no summer.

Oh and the terrorists and combat fishing are definitely part of the season just like mosquitous, but the defining characteristic (statewide on the roadsystem) has to be road construction - not just on the highways when you're trying to get out fishing, but it's right in town on your way to work or to your local fly shop too!
