Found some good ice! Caught some bookies

It took a 10 mile round trip  hike to make it happen, but it finally happened! I found ice!! I’ve been itching for ice, and I made it happen. Unfortunately we made one mistake on the hike to our destination that cost us, and we had to go with plan B. Either way we found plenty of ice, and had a killer time for our first trip this year!

My buddy stepped in a deep snow drift that happened to be covering a creek, he got soaked.. fortunately enough for us we weren’t to far from the lake we just passed on our way to the one we were headed to🤷‍♂️ so we stayed there, set up the hut so my buddy could warm up, and handed it right there where we sat.. till it started to blizzard on us 😂
