Don't bother trying for biggest trout. Locals catch most of them soon after they are stocked.

We caught a TON of fish today at the Derby, but all the WRONG Species.

Has anyone seen a sucker this big. It weighed about 3.5 lbs

...and unfortunately this guy had a BAD day and had to be towed off the ice. They truck looked to have heavy damage to it

There was plenty of safe ice on that pond.
We were fishing on 22-24inches.
Why he drove over by the inlet , guess we'll never know.
Just glad he's ok and the truck got pulled out.

Correct.... and I don't know about you, but after seeing a Truck being pulled out of the ice and regardless of how much ice there is, I would not drive my motor home out

YEA. When we were getting ready to left there was a minivan that was off the ramp and folks were trying to pull that out

Every few years someone goes through Roxbury Pond near the inlet. I've seen it happen in the middle of a colder than normal winter when trucks were safely on the rest of the pond.
