I had a chance to buy a year old SnoBear for $25.600 about ten years ago and passed. For some reason it didn't sell and the owner donated it to the county to be used as a rescue vehicle.

I have been really pleased with my snow dog. Is it perfect? No. Is it fast? faster than me and 20mph is plenty fast in the cold and snow. Pulled me and my buddy, driver sled 2 jetsleds and my Sierra Flip in 2'+ of heavy wet snow. Have yet to burn a whole gallon of gas on a trip and I have went several miles out n back. So far so good.

The pirce point is steep but with the right financing you are only looking at a few hundred a month.  The issue is can someone in new England get enough use to justify the cost.

You can finance these at 70 months no problem!

New snowmobile and covered trailer 20k +
New UTV with Tracks 25k +
and still have 20k to buy fishing gear,,,, heck you can get a nice used boat for way less than that.

Hard to justify the Snowbear in my book. They look nice and I would love to try one someday, but buy one...... probably not. Well unless I win the lottery and then maybe just to make the rest of you jealous. Ha ha

You lost me here.  An excavator is a few more bucks than 50k (gf works for H.O. Penn, a cat dealer).  Pretty sure most guys are financing those at a few hundred thousand for quite a long term. So hard to compare rates on a 50k personal or business loan at 1.9%...

It’s an example showing what it really cost to finance that kind of money.

Gotcha.  I noticed the term you mentioned being a lot shorter than what you can finance this thing for.  Do they not allow you to draw the financing out on your machines because you are a business?


Used but 53k...figure 20k down and decent financing and that's a few hundred a month.
