Anyone been up to Bigelow Hollow? Would like to get one more afternoon in today but don’t feel like swimming. Heard the big lake has some soft spots.

Old report , Fished Mashapaug on Saturday.
The channel out to the lake had 10" or so.
Out to the 1st Island on the left was 6" +.
A friend fished Bigelow Friday afternoon 6+ inches.
I'm sure it's thinner now.
Was on Winchester Sunday 15-18" of ice.
Be safe.

I was out there Sunday- Ice was getting bad approaching the point where the lake narrows ( about 1/4 of the way north)had water seeping in at 2" on 4" of white ice but people were fishing near the islands on the west side of the lake. I would stay to that side and check as you go.

That's to bad that the ice is failing there, usually holds up pretty well. Have to hit next year.
