Tobin Lake

Hey
I would like to try around Prudens point this week. Can I drive out there or walk?
Is there access around Tobin lake resort?
Thank you

Ok thanks,

Has anyone had any luck out at Prudens point? Or anywhere at all. Has been slow for myself.

Hey guys, headed up for the weekend. Ice driving always sketches me out. Thoughts on safety crossing from the resort village to prudens?

I was hoping to drive the truck out to the hump and set up camp there for a couple nights this weekend and venture out on the snow machine during the day. Can anyone update me on what it’s like accessing the lake from the shore bird? Is she just a big puddle right now? Thanks team.

I’ll try find out for you. I know access to the flats is declining very rapidly with the warm weather lately. If the forecast for the rest of this week holds, its going to be really bad.

I’ll try find out what it’s like at the resort for you though.

Thanks a lot. Ya from experience I know the flats access is usually garbage when it’s been nice like this. I was going to just snowmachine over there to fish. Thanks again.

You bet. Yeah it’s always a crap shoot this time of year.

Sounds like as of today it’s sloppy but not terrible but only because it’s below zero today.

Access by the resort is ok but water up to the running boards on trucks. Around a foot of water on top already.

If it gets +6 to +11 the next few days like they are saying it will get very interesting by the weekend. It could be pretty bad if the forecast is accurate. Hope this helps a bit
