How sloppy is the ice in York County?
« on: Feb 28, 2021, 11:19 AM »
I haven't been out for a couple of weeks - can anybody tell me how bad the slush is? It was pretty wet last time out and with all of this rain and warm weather, I am thinking that conditions must be really wet.  Any updates on ice thickness would also be appreciated. I think that it might be time to head Downeast for the last few trips of the year but I sure would love to steal away for some day trips if it didn't involve a wetsuit.
Is it making ice yet?
