Never been to Candle Lake. It looks like there are several options for getting on the ice at boat launches. How are the conditions on the ice? Is there much snow, slush, drifts, etc that would prevent a 2 wheel drive from getting around?

I have Not been for a month or so. But last time I was there it woulda been tough in my half ton. I used The sled.
Might have a few trails right now just from everyone hauling there shacks off over the last week or two.
Regards.

Can anyone update the condition of the ice this weekend, amount of water on top of ice, any open water at shore, snow on ice, passable with truck or snowmobile only? I am planning on being in the Candle/Whiteswan lake areas mid week. Thanks.

Still people driving on at deep bay. Lots of water on lake and access is starting to rut up pretty bad.
