I have never fished it before...its about 2 hrs away...I've heard descent stories on the blue gills...is it easy access and public parking?   Thanks!!!!

It's a state park.
Good bait shop on highway 36, at the crossroad, where you turn to the north to go into
the park.
Unless you come from a different direction.
