Nice catch. Nothing more fun than lakers when it comes to ice fishing. I miraculously landed a 30 incher out of a 6 inch hole in 20+ inches of ice last March while perch fishing.

Insane won't describe it, more like miraculous. My short arms weren't long enough to get a grip on it under the ice, despite plunging my arm down the hole up to my shoulder. After a good 10 minutes or so if me trying to figure it out, the fish turned it's head up and somehow swam right up the narrow hole. Only regret was not taking a picture of it next to the hole for reference.
