The Shoal Lakes
« on: Jan 01, 2021, 08:20 AM »
Are the Shoal Lakes still “a thing” for chasing perch? I want to do some different lakes this year, get away from all the Red and Big Windy crowds (and hoards of newbies killing off COVID time).

I know posts have been scarce in the last 5 years and it’s been overfished, reportedly. Don’t want to be part of “the problem”, but would like some action that isn’t sauger and walleye.

Correction ..............apparent ly they drove on and he said to keep to trails as the snow is rather deep and they had gone out about two miles ..............ice had been 16 inchs .Bite was slow and at the end of the day they took home 8 perch in the ten inch range .
