Anglin Lake

I'm heading up to Anglin Lake on Boxing Day. Does anyone have snow and ice conditions? I imagine it would be safe by now. I'd like to drive on with a 4x4. Thanks.

Ended up taking the van. There's trucks on the ice and maybe ~3" of snow. I'm not willing to risk driving the van on. Mind you I haven't even drilled a hole yet. Hopefully fish are biting tomorrow.

Anyone been up recently? Looking to take the car on the ice if possible.

Is fishing slow here as well?

Should be o.k with a car on the packed trails.  Fishing has been very slow.

Headed up to Anglin a couple days ago ... no action during the day but caught a few small pike around sunset. Still plenty of ice for driving the truck on (and a little too much for my hand auger). Beautiful weather though!

have been up to anglin lake twice in the past 10 days, boat launch was to rough for my wifes rav4 . walked on , all the northerns you want,but they are small [hammer handles]

Yes definitely a little rougher around the boat launch - some decent packed vehicle tracks to drive on if you manage to get past the launch area
