Looking like another year of hard walking on the lake. I can only hope these high winds are keeping a lot of the snow on shore and off the ice. Really want a few walleye but not going to fight -30 and 2 foot of snow to get them. I guess I am just not a diehard 😁

The wind looks like it’s keeping the snow off. We only got 3 inches of snow here in the constantia area so far

it appears the wind is doing it's job........3" of snow so far that has pretty much been blown off the lake.....can see bare ice spots from shore......could be some drifts which could cause problems with being able to see the chunked up ice fields out there......sleds and wheelers should us caution and slow down

Fished Wednesday out at Williams. End up with 20 perch and 1 eye. Ice was in good condition 10in plus. Had to work for them switching lures and jigging hard. Hope to get out Sunday.
Bait it. Jig it. Hook it.

How much snow is on Oneida? Tough walking conditions? Or has a lot of It blown off with the wind?

Thanks for the snow report white lightning. We got another 4-5 inches in constantia. I was wondering how it was out there today.

anybody know where to bring a power auger for repair. I spent most of last weekend trying to get my sled running now it's at the shop. I don't have any more patience to try and fix the auger myself. I called motor mender in Liverpool that used to service strikemaster but message said he retired on December 31st.  Not my year so far. I'm walking out tomorrow with a hand auger. The wind looked like it was blowing most of the snow off today, we got probably 7-8" yesterday on the south side.

Cool pics. That's why it's been snowing here for days.

Sylvan Beach today:

It was windy and cold!

Walked out to 23-28 ft...caught a few perch..rap tipped with minnow head...ran out of propane....came in!

Ice was great ...7-10 inches

Snow actually helped the walk by filling in the inconsistent ice. Wind blown and crusty.

Still spud!

Can anyone post gps coordinates of the best hole they fished this year? So I don't accidentally fish your spot of course.
