gatineau ice fishing

First time out this morning, nowhere to find live minnows everything is closed, took my fake minnow and out on the bay, 1 medium perch

feels good to start my new rapala ice auger works well.
6" of good ice

Do you catch crappie on Mc Laurin Bay ?

I'm planning a crappie ice fishing trip in Plaisance - Gatineau area around the first week of march.

Yes, there are lots of crappie and perch, Saturday I hit the spot for perch and pulled out 4 in 2 minutes. let me know when your coming

You can keep it, those parasites are only on the skin! They came from ducks and cormorants. We have a lot of pearch like that around!

I'll be fishing the Ottawa River monday (30) and tuesday (31).

Do you know if there is any crappies in ''baie de la pentecôte'' near Plaisance ?
