pics of this seasons catch.

Hi all,  Just wanted to share a few pics some of this seasons ice fishing so far. The fishing has been decent :icefish:... Started out on Turkey lake first ice(first 2 pics), fished it dec 19th,20th,21st and brought back 200 decent gills/crappie/perch. The rest is top secret lol, enjoy!

More pics on the way....And whats with these weather forcasters??? It was suppose to dip into the 20's lastnight, but the lowest i seen was 36. In the last few years, i have been able to get on good ice right up to the first of march. Hopefully this year will be the same!

Pics from this past weekend.  ;D

17" crappie caught and released Saturday!


Limit of nice crappie, plus a nice 10"+ perch and 15 decent gills also caught saturday.


kept 30 on sunday.

another 30 on monday.

way to get on them :clap: did the bass happen to come from the gravel pit off bluffton rd. in ft.wayne?the background looks familiar.if so feel free to post it because anyone who knows of the place knows if you don't have permission to be there you will be prosecuted for tresspassing ;)

Haha I was waitin for someone to say that. I would share more info if I could, but the places Im fishin right now don't have access. Trust me, when I get out on some water that is available to eveyone else, ill be more than happy to share specifics. Not tryin to boast or brag, just read a thread a week or so ago about people wanting to see fish pics. So I figured I would share thats all... Im sure you understand. I plan on hittin a spot on Lake James here soon for a late ice bite, if it's on ill let ya know.

Thanks! Im workin my arse off for 12-14 keepers per trip the last 3 outings, I hope the bite picks back up... #12 purple/chartruese jig tipped with one spike is what I caught them on.

Update* Ended up with 31 from a private lake I fished yesterday. The first pic below is a pic of 4 I caught back to back before they shut down @ 5:30. The other pics are of the better fish I caught that day too. The other 15 not pictured were just 7" gills, just cleaners... a Good tip from crappie66 is stated in his fishing tip thread, as all of these fish were caught in 6-8fow too!! #12 purple/ orange jig, tipped with one spike.

Caught the biggest perch I have ever caught today. ;D 12.5 in long, but it was almost 4in tall!! I let her gor for breeding stock...
