Good morning IW! Good morning everyone.

51 degrees may squeak out an 80 by the afternoon.

Bud.....Glad to read you made it to Beloit  With everything you have done in the last year it will be interesting to read what you call an adventure  ;D

IW.... Good luck wrapping up you project. Any more pontoon rides this fall?

WW....Hope the stars are aligning for an outing in the boat

Eddie...I remember eating apple butter years ago. Hope it turned out as good as you remember

h2l....My nieces love liver and onions. Their dad started them on venison liver when they were very young and they took to it.

Yesterday’s tree job went well; I was able to wrap it up by early afternoon. This morning I have a Dr. appointment and then I need to look at a bigger job for next week. I bid the job a couple months ago and it sounds like the guy wants to add on some things.

Hope everyone has a good day Stay safe and keep healthy.

              Good morning ER's,
It's 57* and cloudy here on my hill. ::)
Dave........I wish people will get it when it comes to the vaccine, I'm clueless to why the don't want to get it.
Bud......... I'm glad you made it safely, you mentioned adventure. So I'm guessing there was sort of excitement on the way.
Badger..... So did you bring any Pheasants home or was it just a workout for the dogs? ???
Eddie........Yes, I got to sign his cast, I'm sure by now all his classmates have signed it. :woot: I'm glad to read the apple picking
was a hit with the grandkids.
Marv.........To me that would be a decent day of fishing. :flex: So Jen is the sweet one. lol :roflmao:
H2l...........Sometime s people get off their game, I hope next week is a better one for you. :flex:
Wally.........After I posted the clouds rolled in and it rained so I didn't get the lawn mowed, maybe today.
Fish...........Nice picture of the Elk, Have Whopper Stopper send a PM to tell you how he does it.
Because of the rain yesterday I didn't get my mowing done, so I tackled a baseboard heater that had some rust on it. I could only get
the color in a primer so I had to buy a can of clear coat semi gloss, it is coming out good. Today I'll finish it.
I hope everyone has a good Tuesday either at work or out. Stay Safe and Healthy.

Look at Artic Armor, I got a set 10 years ago and I am still wearing it. The mistake I made the first time using it was to were long johns underneath
my clothes. I sweated my butt off on the trip across the ice. Since then I've never warn any. It floats as well, I tried it out in my sons pool.

Upnorthsports.com has the X300. I thought the $200 shipping surcharge was a little steep until I scrolled down and saw the shack itself is almost $1,500!! Holy smokes.

They have the Eskimo 9416i I've been looking for too with free shipping, but I'm still kinda hoping I can find a used one within driving distance a little more reasonably priced.

yea at first the added $200.00 shipping cost is a shock but the sled on the X300 is 7 feet long and almost 4 feet wide and like 2 feet tall. the whole house weighs in at just around 200 pounds.

Perchpirate,
I agree with WARRIOR. Get a good printed guide with detailed text and quality pics. Learn to identify one or two species to begin with, and if there’s doubt, don’t take any chances. Oysters and morels are absolutely safe to eat, and are easily identified. Follow up with an experienced “shroomer” to expand your knowledge of edible fungi, and see if there are any
groups in your area that are willing to share their expertise with a novice. Happy hunting!

General Ice Fishing Chit Chat / Height of Clam Yukon XL collapsed?
« Last post by mnmgri4 on Sep 27, 2021, 10:47 PM »
If anyone has a Clam Yukon XL Thermal can you tell me the height of it collapsed with the seats removed?  Looking to see if it will fit into the space I wish to store it in.

Thanks

to keep this explanation simple what has happened is that all the retailers this year have bought up most of the supply of product for the year. the amount of product made each year is based on a projected sales forecast and basically Clam under forecasted what the retailers would order. ended up the retailers ordered more then what was budgeted for and produced this year so now even us pro staff members have to buy from the retailers if we want something that is out of stock at Clam. so my advice would be to shop all the major retailers and if you find what you want get it right away as it will not last and you might miss out on a chance at getting what you want. More people have gotten into ice fishing since covid hit and the supply of product just can't keep up to the current demand do to this increase.

Thanks Monticatgeek, I was hoping you might see this & comment as you've been on it over here at the shanty for Clam. I figured this was coming with the way our world has been running since covid.
