Title: Thin ice!!

So thin I could toss tiny chironomids and clousers through it.

Nice!  CC is all open on the East & South. West side has about 5ft of open water to the ice. Won't be long now!

Was there today at 300pm. 100% open.

Wow where on earth did manage to find perch close to shore to use a fly rod at ice off?...yes that is a rhetorical question i dont expect an answer...outstanding!

Ponds.  Larger ones for bigger perch.  Iíve caught some tanks that way this time of year.  I use a 6wt with slow sink line and small streamers, long casts I but get them on the other side of weed lines often.  The one below was two years ago around this same time.
