Has anyone hit the ice lately?
Living through you guys down here!
The plan is in the works to come up there in a couple years for my own adventure. I can't wait!
Until then...you guys keep us posted!

I was out last Sunday for 4 or 5 hours.
Went pike fishing again, trying to get a 40 incher on the board.
Caught about a dozen with the largest only about 10#'s so not relly worth a report and I didn't take any pictures as I was solo this last trip.
Looking at doing a couple of trips this weekend to try and get a board laker iced. ;D

Anyone been out?
I think next year this time I am going to try Tobin in Saskatchewan....and then I plan on making the LONG trek north to Yellowknife.
6,000 miles worth of a trip...lol. Am I crazy?

Am I crazy?
Nope!!! ;D
March and April are the best times for fishin' on the ice up here. ;)2
Don't forget your sun block and sunglasses. @)

Anyone still ice fishing up there?
Looking forward to reading about some northern pike being caught! :)

Been meaning to get out but have had other commitments the last few weeks.
Probably got close to a month of ice fishing still left up here so there's still time. ;)2

Drifter - any word on the condition of the Tibbitt ice road? I assume the Prosperous one is about done with all the south facing portages. We pulled our camp out weeks ago with that spike in warm weather and the portages around Bluefish were already getting sloppy.

Haven't heard, don't think I'll be heading up that way any more this winter.
I agree that prosperous is pretty much toast by now.
