Blackstone Griddle
« on: Feb 06, 2023, 06:29 PM »
Anyone have a 22” Blackstone Griddle?  I’m thinking about getting one to make hibachi and breakfast on it.  Wondering how long a 1# tank will last cooking on it.  Looks like a good grill to take ice fishing and cook as well.  I prefer to use the 1# tanks to make the grill more portable and save space.  Do the 1# tanks last long enough to cook a couple meals.

I use a splitter of my 10lb tank. One pounders do last quite awhile though.
is there anything better than a day on the ice?

I have the 22”, the 1lb tanks will definitely last you a couple cooks. More than a couple.  Since I already have 20lb tanks around, I got a converter hose and just run off those, but the 1lb green tanks will definitely get the job done.

I have a 17" that we use a lot at camp for a half dozen guys. Plenty big enough. I also have one here at home that I use year round. Cooked eggs and corned beef hash this morning. We use 1# cans at camp and I use a 20# tank at home. I have no need to get the 22".

Yes...I have the 22" and cook everything on it. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also hook it to a 5# tank. Lasts forever.
