Circle hooks for Burbot.

Have you guys been successful with circle hooks for burbot?

I have used them with tip ups and didnt see any difference. The Maine law= is if you fish at night for eelpout--you must check your lines ONCE an hour. Doing this you get swallowed hooked no matter what you use.

circle hooks are awesome on sets...never had swallows, always in the corner of the mouth, if you are fishing with sets circle hooks are the way to go!!!

I use circle hooks for burbot on Flaming Gorge here in Wyoming..  They work great and usually get near 100 percent hookup if you don,t set the hook hard.
