Cork Handle Upgrade

My cork handle on my frabill 26" quicktip was looking a little beat up and rough so i decided to do a little upgrade.
My daughter had an extra tennis racquet grip overwrap laying around so i decided to use it. I just wrapped the handle then taped on the reel. The best thing is that it doesn't stick to the handle.

Is that stuff kinda "cushy" grip wise? I have been thinking about doing that for a while.
