Want to buy a 6" Nils.... But where
« on: Jan 24, 2014, 09:26 PM »
I am thinking of picking up a 6" Nils auger, but can't seem to find any at the moment.  Anyone know where they might still be in stock.  I have a 6" Lazer that is struggling through teh 12-14" of ice we currently have.

Good luck. Look for an 8. Check Dags or Sebago Bait in Maine.

Did you try PTO? That's where I bought mine. He is a Shanty sponsor on the Indiana thread and is located in Fort Wayne on Lima Rd. by Pizza Hut and Treadway Pools across from Crazy Pins his number is 260-747-4883. Good luck.

I stop in at PTO from time to time.  I will see what he has in stock.  I took a good look at my lazer after it had thawed out and found one of the bolts to the blades came out and one of the blades slipped off at an angle.  So I now have that straightened back out and back to drilling decent again.  I still wouldn't mind a nils auger though.  I will stop in at PTO and see what they have left.  I'm not sure I want an 8" though, seems it might be on the big side for the panfish around here.
