ATV Seat
« on: Jan 16, 2014, 12:01 PM »
Has anyone had a problem with the staples holding the seat skin on rusting to the point that the skin starts come undone. I tried using a battery powered stapler with 1/4 inch 6mm staples and they just bend over doing nothing. it's like the plastic is to tough to penetrate. Any ideas?

I did my own seat recovering and used a hand staple gun bostick old all metal had to use the edge of the table being the seat edge if I turned the seat over just on the foam it wouldn't drive the staple all the way in. I also had to use a hammer and finish driving some other stapes in. Since then i bought myself a upholstery air stapler foe next time was 35 bucks here in Canadian tire.
