2wd Bayou 250
« on: Jan 18, 2013, 07:35 PM »
I have a 2wd Kawasaki Bayou 250. wondering if i will be able to pull my Clam Guide and gear. Planing on chains on the back and screws in the front. Am I wasting my time? Any and all feed back is appreciated.

You would NOT be waisting your time.  My 650 arctic cat weights over 700 pounds. Your's would be better on five inches of ice than mine.

just wasnt sure how well it would pull the weight, i guess traction is the main thing. ice is only 3 inches today, ill be lucky to get to use the quad this year. >:(

I have one those of those too.  I was going to take it instead of my 650 Brute force ealier in the year, but didn't.  glad because I needed the 4wd due to the deep snow and slush we ended up driving through.  I agree with the lesser weight, which is why I was going to take it.  I think as long as the snow is not too deep, you should be fine.
