Title: 1997 Polaris Indy Wide track LX Snowmobile what are your thoughts

I am thinking of getting this sled and I am getting it damn cheap all it needs is a battery fuel and coolant line
what are your thought for a first sled

great in deep snow , it should low range and reverse , down fall if you mentioned coolant line then its liquid cooled ,never  had good luck with liquid cooled sleds for to reasons , sometimes there's not enough snow on the ice or you run so slow under 10 mph it doesn't kick up snow the exchangers seen 2 liquids both blow up in 2 years , fan cooled or something that has a radiator that's not depent on the snow . my 2 cents

Get it. Especially if its cheap. If it blows up who cares?

 Do you do your own wrenching?  If not then even a cheap sled will get very expensive-
