1st fish of the season....

ok, granted, not a trophy but it was on my pond out back! (they are getting bigger!!) 
(sad thing is that shortly after catching this lil guy i was popping another hole and "snap, crackle, pop" the ice went... and I gingerly got off my 3 inches of ice)

Hey I've cheered for a 4 inch perch after a whole day of not enticing anything else up the hole. Fun to see your own raised fish get bigger :-)
Its all fun and games until someone loses a walleye.......

maybe it ain't the biggest but you got a taste of whats to come. nice clean looking fish
