Do you have any info on the derby? I'm interested in go but haven't heard anything about it.

can't tell you any thing specific for Lk Pleasant but I did fish Gilman on Tues. (Feb 27)  It was good  about 10" of clear solid ice with another 4" of white ice on top. Very easy walking but not sure what this weather coming will do to it.   PLEASE be careful   spud spud spud

Was there on Tuesday and the ice conditions were good. No problem with access.

Fished Lake Peasant yesterday.  I was the only one on the ice and the pre-storm conditions were excellent for both ice and fish.

Yes I did. Ice was fine. about 8" of white ice on top of another 8" of nice clear ice felt very safe on Gilman. Rode up to lake pleasant after a very poor bite & saw one guy out 3/4 mile in a howling wind. walking conditions looked awful with a lot of snow. I think there is another week there for the hardy ones.

Was up in the adirondacks on a small lake called oxbow lake a few years ago the fishing wasn't too good so we rented a boat on lake pleasant happened to be a great decision.  We caught smallmouth between 2-3 pounds all day brought back our 3 man limit, also caught a few perch that were huge.  The guy at the boat rental place was amazed said he's never seen anyone come back with that many fish guess we were just there at the right time.  How's the perch fishing there wasn't fishing for them just happened to get a couple but I am curious now as the size of the fish were phenomanal!!!

Very hit and miss.  Good one time, go back 3 more times & do nothing.

I've never had a tough time catching perch on tip ups. Fish bottom in 10 to 15 feet and should get flags all day
