HAPPY VETERANS DAY Thank you all for your service !

I want to add to this thread and please don't think I'm personally looking for thanks because I'm not. I want to put this out from a Veteran's point of view. You folks have no idea how good it can make us feel when you thank us for our service, especially in the day and age we are living in today. It is a thankless job and we don't or didn't do it for the recognition of it. We did it because thought it was the right thing to do or what needed to be done. So again thank you for the appreciation you have given to those that have or are still serving this great country of ours!!!

Thanks for your services !

Understanding that hobbies like ice fishing are a luxury we enjoy because the sacrifice of those who serve and served throughout history is such a humbling thought. It comes to mind often but is especially remembered today. Thank you

Thanks for being an American worth fighting for.... “All the Way”

Thanks to all vets past and present.
I feel privledged to have becoming friends with so many WW2 vets when I was growing up as they were my roll models as I grew up with out my father being around very much. I told a Pacific bomber pilot how important he was to me growing up a while back. It bought tears to his eyes. He is now 102.
I still remember delivering the news paper when Korea ended. I was 10 years old.
My brother spent 26+ years in the Army flying helos. He told us to ask him about the Hobo Woods when he got home. He said he was on his third Huey when they shut down for the night. he got sot down in the other two.

I know you gentleman are humble and not looking for attention but Maybe instead of our Vets taking a seat back and just following this post we could make another post where anyone that served lists their branch or what have you so we know who we are thanking??

Today's WSJ has article about cold welcome to veterans on elite college campuses. Same college students who love socialism. This is not right.
