Silver Lake (Angola) 28in Northern on Tipup

Took a trip to Silver Lake today to go try for some Gills out by the reeds...I did get out late about 10am and the gill bite was non existent...all lookers for me..I brought 2 tip-ups out and loaded both with a shiner in about 15ft right off the reeds and got this Northern 28in..If it wasnt for this guy, I would of came home empty..The ice was about 4 inches today and alot of water on top and holes were sucking water in like a sewer..Hopefully it doesnt rain alot and the wind calms down...
