Yeppers, drove over to Ocean this morning to have a cup o' joe with Wyohunter (Steve- right) and his ice-fishing buddy Dave. They're on a marathon week-long ice-trip, it started at the Gorge, then they hit Ocean and tomorrow, they'll court the "Sisters" at Boysen, looking to ice some perch, wallys and ling...so far, I'd say they're lookin' pretty successful, wouldn't you? Nice macs...not sure about that gill-hold though!  :woot: This is what the shanty's all bout...good friends! Good times!

We made the pilgramage. went to the Gorge and caught some lakers any where between 40 and 80 fow, no biggiest all around twenty inches. Had a couple break offs that we never got to see.( they had to be monsters didn't they). Then off to Ocean to get the Godfathers blessing! Don came out to Ocean and gave us some sage advise, but the gods of walleyes and perch didnt shine for us took off the same minnows at 7:30 that night that we had put on at 8 that morning still as lively as ever. Saturday we headed to Boysen the fish gods didn't shine on us there either but did get to watch that guy drive into the lake. It was really great meeting you ex-LT.

wyohunter,
Nice pic of you and the mack! You had some beautiful weather it looks like. The fish don't always cooperate. But you did get to met the Godfather! I finally made it out today after working the last 7 days. I met up with Raven and his friends Jeff and Steve at KH the fishing was slow for them, but they did catch a few! More great ice fishing Guys!
