I want to go there this winter and do some perch fishing.Anybody here ever ice fish it/if so how was it and did you see many people on the ice?Wife and me  will be there 3days.There any night live around there or good place to eat?Any help would be great help planning trip thanks.John

My brother did real well last winter, need to use 1 lb line or they wouldn't bite. I was using 2 lb next to him and didn't catch anything. It was sad to watch him catch everything. Not much for night life, a couple bars in Highland Dodgeville has a couple places and there is House on the rock over there also.
