Wallace lake
« on: Jan 16, 2019, 06:45 PM »
Got bored today and took the spud down.  Only 2in of junk ice. Talked to some guys at shore fishing they stocked trout in mon. Should be good in a couple of days if the snow don't kill it. Talked to a freind today on a farm pond on 3in. I checked our pond spud went through in 1 hit.  Mark

Thanks for sharing.  Wallace is normally my first ice trip of the year until the bigger bodies of water get safer. I'm praying for Erie ice!

Had a great time there with the kids on the ice last year. Those trout are a lot of fun.  I don't think it will be long for Eire now. Glad all the snow is going into open water instead of messing up the ice. Mark
