Two Boys Enjoying Our Sport / Pics

Took my son and his best friend icefishing a couple days ago.His friend never iced fished before, so he brought his hockey stick along to hit some pucks.Well the ice fishing gods were with us that day. Lots of flags and fish.As I watched them both chasing flags I thought back to the time my best friends father took me fishing for the first time and how that day got me hooked for life.As I was packing the truck for ride home I noticed that the hockey stick was never taken out of the truck,and before we got in the truck to leave his young voice asking if he could go again sometime. I knew then he was hooked.   Below is a picture of my boy and his best friend.

Awesome hunter!! Pretty good odds you have wrangled up another ice fisher!!! It's pry the best feeling you can get when you bring someone out hunting, fishing, or trapping, and you have a real good day!!!  I actually get nervous if im taking a newbie out for the first time!! So nervous i cant sleep cuzi want so bad to put em on animals or fish!! THank you for helping carry on our way of life!!

Good to hear that you are not only taking your son, but his friend also.  One day fishing is one less day for a kid to learn about drugs and crime.............Unle ss he's fishing with my brother, hahahahaha.  Just kidding!!
