A Day on the Lake........ and a good day at that

Some pictures of the day we had on Gull Lake, not a bad day if I do say so  ;D
The Whites the morning bite produced for us.......


First Pike of the day..


My buddy Cams first ever Pike....Im gonna chaulk it up as beginners luck



Then it was my turn about 15mins later...


Then it was time for the LING KING to shine :D

Man those things are ugly  :sick: Unavoidable when fishing on the bottom..

You Albertans take great pride in your ling fishing  ;) Keep it up! Nice pike and Whites too :tipup:

Talk about a fantastic day on the ice!!!

Those vehicles on the ice are making me ultra-jealous.. we will be luck to find 2" of ice this weekend :(

Thanks for the feedback guys. We had ever bit of 16" of ice around here right now by the end of the season we're in the 30"-36" range, and I still rip my holes by hand with an 8" Finbore  ::)

hell yeah, nice fish! We have about 10" average ice here on our mid-elevation lakes...wish we had 16" though...then I might be able to drive on the ice on some fisheries.
