That's picture was taken in the Mat-Su (Matanuska-Susitna) River Valley about an hour north of Anchorage, AK.  It's an unfished lake with an over abundance of dolly varden.  You really have to pick through the smalls ones until a larger fish comes around.  We were actually using 1-2 inch chunks of herring for bait because the smaller fish could not take the bait.  But the girls loved seeing 20-30 small dollies swarming the hook and then scatter when mama came in to investigate!
